And just as quickly as I wanted to snap my fingers have Leadership Lunchobn done... it's now a week in my past!!! WOO HOO!!!
I also want to say a delayed Happy Mother's Day to all my mom friends and mom-to-be friends out there! It was kind of a surreal experience at church on Mother's Day. The couple that provided the alter flowers that Sunday specifically said that the flowers were in honor and memory of all moms and moms-to-be. The wife came up to me after the service and said that they were specifically thinking of me when they said the "moms-to-be". I was speechless for a few minutes before I could say thank you. So, just remember, moms-to-be are moms too!
Earlier this week we had our first meetiing with our Parents as Teachers educator. I've known that I wanted to be part of this program for awhile and put our name on a waiting list in January. Chris didn't know a lot so I asked him to stick around if he could... and boy is he glad he did! I think this is going to be a good fit for all of us... dogs included!
Other than that, we've been busy getting the house cleaned up and things put away. Still seems like it's taking forever to get it back to normal after the remodel. Oh well, it's all worth it in the end!
