Dear Friends and Family

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss.
I don't yet have a name.

Not yet can you hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.

But all that will change come this June;
When they say I am due.
I am your newest McBaby;
And I can't wait until I meet you!

All I ask between now and then
Is your love for me to grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait;
Just think of all the joy we'll know!

So as you're waiting patiently,
Please pray lots of prayers for me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful friends and family!

That's right! Some wondered when it would happen, but Chris and I are having a baby and we couldn't be more excited! As of today, Baby McGee is officially 13 weeks and 1 day and has a very strong (and fast) heartbeat. If the baby is 13 weeks and 1 day, that puts my due date at June 10, 2011. (Yes, this puts a damper on the triathlon schedule for Chris this June, but we are all willing to sacrifice for awhile!) Since some of you are far away, I'll try and post some "belly" pictures along the way.

Please keep us in your thoughts over the next few months. It's going to be an exciting ride!
