Goodbye Green Honda... Hello Black Avalon!

This morning, Chris and I said our sappy goodbyes to a good friend, the Green Honda. Green Honda and I have been friends since 1998 when I drove her off of the Sharp Honda sales floor. She's been a good friend. Trusty and dependable... but she was really starting to show her age. And this week, Green  Honda gave us her blessing to being searching for a new addition to the family and she would be happy to find a new family to keep company. We talked, and she knows she is the perfect car for a first time driver learning a stick shift, a college student needing a cheap car, or a commuter wanting to get good gas mileage. We were in a good place to say good bye.

Once our goodbyes were done, the nice man at Capital City Nissan took the WU tag off the back of Green Honda and transferred it to the Black Avalon! She is beautiful, I cannot lie! Last night when we were looking at her, it was almost like the Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation when they are looking for the Christmas Tree, and the ray of sun hits the tree just perfectly and they just know! It almost felt like that!

With all that said, I introduce to you the new McGee Black Avalon!

Okay, did you REALLY think I'd not post a picture of me in the car before I drove off the lot? Of course not! This is one sweet ride!
